The application has the following features:

Result log showing past results. Result log text size can be cleared, the size changed and a line break inserted for clearer reading.

Dice formula can be labeled and their position in the list re-ordered.

Dice formula can be marked as exploding (i.e. rolling the highest value on the die causes it to be rolled again, adding the result).

An optional result pop up dialog can be shown, making the result of your roll even easier to view.

Dice Bag Profiles, this allows you to create a different set of formula per character, campaign or encounter.

Planned features for future release:

Non standard dice types (e.g. 1d2, 1d3, 1dx)

Multiple dice types in the same formula (e.g. 2d6 + 1d8)

Feature requests are always welcome. If you have a feature you would like to see implemented then don’t hesitate to contact us via the contact form or send an email to support@droidhut.com

I used to use the firefox plugin. Then one day I ran my virus checking program and it seems that the SQLite3 plugin for firefox had an awful lot of suspicious and unsafe files in its directory. I didn’t even bother to investigate, I just removed it and started looking again.

This is by far the best SQLite3 browser/manager I have seen so far -

droidhut highly recommends the CommonsWare series of books on Android development. They provide a very thorough introduction to the platform and give readers a head start on a range of advanced topics. The source code is provided for all examples and the author, Mark Murphy is very accessible and dedicated to the Android community.

The books are offered on a yearly subscription basis, so you get access to all books and updates for a year and you get to keep your copies at the end of your subscription.

All the books are published with the Four to Free (42F) guarantee, which means after four years or 4,000 copies sold, a book edition is released under the Creative Commons license for free, non-commercial distribution and reuse. Now that’s commitment to the community!

They also offer a Bug Bounty program that allows you to receive 6 month subscription codes whenever you identify a legitimate error in one of their publications. At droidhut, we know from experience that they stick to their word on this.

There isn’t a better value resource for learning about Android development.

One of the best Android development resources available is of course the Android developer site, developer.android.com

The site contains a development guide that provides a number of tutorials on Android development. They show you how to setup a development environment using Eclipse and the Android Development Toolkit and attempt to explain many parts of the operating system and the SDK. For an overview of most features they do a really excellent job.

The other often often looked feature of the Google SDK (judging by some of the questions on the forums) is the javadoc comments in the SDK reference section of the site. There are many useful and often overlooked bits of information tucked away here. We would recommend that whenever you’re working with a particular class or feature that you should check the related javadoc because you might find it extremely useful.
